[The camera feed clicks on to Jane, Tenten, and a Bisharp. Jane looks awfully cheerful, as does Tenten. They finally got to meet up and as promised- Jane is teaching Tenten how to make chocolate. Sure the gifts would be a little late, BUT WHATEVER.]

Happy Valentine's day to everyone out there!

[Tenten’s not been the most successful one in the kitchen. Her fingers and forearms are coated in chocolate (how is a mystery for the ages), and there’s what’s probably cocoa powder smeared on her nose and cheeks (another mystery).]

Yeah, Happy Valentine’s Day! I guess? [Really she’s not all that sure why she’s on video for this other than to brag about their chocolate-making attempts?? Jane could totally have handled this part on her own.]

[Through convincing and flattery they have gotten Dart (the Bisharp) to wear an apron and help them out- so that probably looks pretty funny. Jane is pretty sure she explained to Tenten why they had to get on camera for this one, but it doesn’t matter. THEY NEEDED TO SAY HI TO THEIR KANTO FRIENDS SOMEHOW.]

We’ve actually made quite a lot and have some extras. So we highly encourage that you get in contact with us about getting some before we run out. [She holds up the tray, LOOK AT THESE. They are definitely heart shaped and knife shaped chocolates. Can you tell who made what. I bet you can’t.]

Some of you guys need to keep an eye out for a Pokémon headed your way. I already attached a couple boxes to them and sent them out, but since we only got them done today, it’s gonna be a little late. If you got a message from me, you know you’re getting something, I guess?

[Wow way to be exclusionary Tenten. Amazing.]

Anyone else can just ask. [And she glances toward Jane because hey, the other girl is the one who made sure the chocolates actually looked like what they’re supposed to be shaped like and that they won’t have a poison filling. And that they’ll taste good on top of all that.]

[Jane goes to end the feed, that is until one of those goo-like Pokemon just, falls in front of the camera. Jane nearly shrieks at the sight, taking a step back and observing the little goo pile looking back up at her. More at Jane’s shriek than at the sight of the Pokémon itself, Tenten grabs the closest weapon-like thing she can find -- a cooking spoon left to rest in one of the bowls from mixing the chocolate -- and points it at the little blob. Splattering chocolate on it and the camera in the process.]

I can check my gear too, I texted a few people as well. As for Jade and Dave if the assumption of them I have is correct. Then if food is the subject of conversation, they will come.

Oh, then it must be a huge shock to see you all grown up then. I'm sure your parents are very proud of you.

[Though lets never mention dead parents. Jane is still unsure about the whereabouts of her own father.]

I hope she will! I mean it was fairly easy to put together but it took me a while to come up with some really good date ideas. I've actually been working on this thing since before Christmas...

Medical is one branch of it, but a lot of things could be explained by science. Like biology explains how living things work such as plants using photosynthesis. But science has so much potential! Explosives, for example, can be made by combining certain chemicals to cause reactions.

Oh, right! I know about plants, too. Kind of, anyway. More about how to take care of them and which ones are good for eating and which ones are poisonous. [Ninjas...]

Wait, hang on, is that how explosives are made in your world? That makes a lot of sense in retrospect. [To the ones in Olivine that is.] The explosives I'm familiar with are made by concentrating your Chakra on certain inks and papers with the right seals.

That's important to know!

[Wouldn't want to eat a poisonous one...]

Yes. I think some people believe in chakra from my universe, but probably not at the level you're talking about. Our explosives are chemical reactions. If I had the materials, I'm sure I could make small explosives with what's available. [Not that...she'd want to make explosives for no reason.]

Yeah, they are. My parents are really awesome!

[It makes him smile widely, thinking of them.]

We're in Mahogany right now, we went back once the mess in Olivine was handled.

[He shakes his head no.] Nothing, says John.

[Snake nods eagerly to that. As long as it's enough for them to all share.]

[She frowns for a moment, then just shrugs. Alright, so she hasn't been able to find any pattern to what people know or don't know.]

Well, I'm glad you're back. I'm sure Jane will be able to help with figuring how much you want shipped.

Yeah, we went back to Violet. We'd left a couple friends hanging.

[She raises both eyebrows, then lets out a soft, "Ah," of comprehension.]

I gotcha. Well... I've never had someone to spend it with, either. Not specifically, I mean. It's more fun to make stuff for my friends, anyway.

Could you show me how to make explosives if we find the materials?

[Sudden Excitement.]

Ah, well. I only had my dad.

[She looks kind of somber about that.] But he was a great guy. Always concerned about me, always wanted to play pranks on me, left me silly notes.

We won't have to worry about waste, nope. I kind of wondered if the Pokemon would like it too. But I didn't really look into it. Perhaps at another time we could possibly look into making them some Pokemon treats or something.

[Hmmmm.] I'm leaning towards Truffle.

[Of course it will be, Jane would never skimp out on a good delivery.]

Do you and your travel group ever battle together?

[Meaning they could use Pokemon to compliment one another. that would be really cool- right?]

No, no! Please come in. We really don't mind. We seem to have made a bit too much anyways. So on top of what you're already getting you could definitely have some more.

[Ah, bluuuuush.] I do fancy myself an expert at cakes!

Well it's not like I was working on it constantly for two months! I mean I made her Christmas present too. I just thought it would be better to gradually come up with ideas as opposed to trying to come up with a whole bunch last minute. It was a gradual thing, I just kinda wrote date ideas down as they came to me to be sure I had a decent amount of them by the time February rolled around.

Violet is the worst. I was stuck there for months when I first got here because everybody kept fucking disappearing and coming back every other week. Like...every time we got about ready to leave, we'd be thwarted at the last minute because we had to wait for somebody else or somebody fell into a coma and the whole thing was just a mess. And on top of that there's...nothing really to do in violet. After about a week, you've seen it all and you just want to get the hell out because the music starts driving you crazy and I am convinced that Violet is not actually a city at all but some kind of void where happiness goes to die and boredom reigns supreme and Violet City is basically just the worst. That's really all that needs to be said on the matter.

[Jesus Christ, John, breathe. You're doing that thing where you start ranting and forget to breathe. Also you sound like a loon.]
