[The camera feed clicks on to Jane, Tenten, and a Bisharp. Jane looks awfully cheerful, as does Tenten. They finally got to meet up and as promised- Jane is teaching Tenten how to make chocolate. Sure the gifts would be a little late, BUT WHATEVER.]

Happy Valentine's day to everyone out there!

[Tenten’s not been the most successful one in the kitchen. Her fingers and forearms are coated in chocolate (how is a mystery for the ages), and there’s what’s probably cocoa powder smeared on her nose and cheeks (another mystery).]

Yeah, Happy Valentine’s Day! I guess? [Really she’s not all that sure why she’s on video for this other than to brag about their chocolate-making attempts?? Jane could totally have handled this part on her own.]

[Through convincing and flattery they have gotten Dart (the Bisharp) to wear an apron and help them out- so that probably looks pretty funny. Jane is pretty sure she explained to Tenten why they had to get on camera for this one, but it doesn’t matter. THEY NEEDED TO SAY HI TO THEIR KANTO FRIENDS SOMEHOW.]

We’ve actually made quite a lot and have some extras. So we highly encourage that you get in contact with us about getting some before we run out. [She holds up the tray, LOOK AT THESE. They are definitely heart shaped and knife shaped chocolates. Can you tell who made what. I bet you can’t.]

Some of you guys need to keep an eye out for a Pokémon headed your way. I already attached a couple boxes to them and sent them out, but since we only got them done today, it’s gonna be a little late. If you got a message from me, you know you’re getting something, I guess?

[Wow way to be exclusionary Tenten. Amazing.]

Anyone else can just ask. [And she glances toward Jane because hey, the other girl is the one who made sure the chocolates actually looked like what they’re supposed to be shaped like and that they won’t have a poison filling. And that they’ll taste good on top of all that.]

[Jane goes to end the feed, that is until one of those goo-like Pokemon just, falls in front of the camera. Jane nearly shrieks at the sight, taking a step back and observing the little goo pile looking back up at her. More at Jane’s shriek than at the sight of the Pokémon itself, Tenten grabs the closest weapon-like thing she can find -- a cooking spoon left to rest in one of the bowls from mixing the chocolate -- and points it at the little blob. Splattering chocolate on it and the camera in the process.]

[Back on the scene with the god damn slime monster that just plummeted into their kitchen. What the hell is up with that.]

Jane, are you okay? [Not taking the spoon off it just yet, Tenten's ready to smack it if it makes any sudden moves.] It didn't use any Poison moves or anything, did it?

[What are these things' moves, it is yet another mystery.]

[Jane was pretty sure that she was about to have a heart attack when it fell from the ceiling, where were these things even coming from? What the hell man.]

I'm fine, it doesn't seem to be using any moves at all. [It looked fairly harmless, to be honest.] John encountered these yesterday. [Alight, here she goes, getting a closer look at it.]

I haven't seen them use any kind of moves yet...

[Alright she'll lower the spoon for now. If by lower you mean stick the end of it in her mouth because hot damn there is chocolate on there (and on the Bloober), and she doesn't want any more of it to go to waste.]

I saw John with them, my Bronzong got kind of attached to one yesterday, too. They seem pretty useless to me, though.

Maybe they aren't leveled enough to have moves yet? Maybe it just knows tackle or something?

[Jane leans down, stretching her hand out to let the bloober thing boop it's head against her fingers before she scoops it up in her hand. IT FEELS SOS WEIRD.]

Is this a Pokemon?

Maybe... Pokémon around Violet aren't all that strong, usually.

[Tenten wrinkles her nose as the other girl picks it up. It looks slimy as hell, no thanks.]

It must be. I heard some of the locals call them Bloobers? The Pokédex has got nothing on them, though. The one my Bronzong talked to wasn't that bright, either.

[She taps the spoon against her lips thoughtfully.]

But you know... it's always the ones that seem the most useless that evolve into the most powerful stuff, you know? Like Magikarp.

[It is pretty slimy. It's gross. But look at how happy it looks now. It just, wiggles around cutely.]

That is a pretty appropriate name. He is a little bloober isn't he?

[That is a weird thing though, why don't they have any info? As a breeder Jane really need info.]

Maybe this little thing will be strong. No, I believe it will be. If you don't want to keep it- I think I will.

Yeah, go ahead and keep it. [Tenten just kind of wrinkles her nose. She'll probably still catch one later just to try to get more information out of it, but for now? No thanks.]

Just keep it out of the chocolate. We don't need another mess! [She means more of a mess. Since she made a good portion of the mess. Oops.]

[She's gonna let bloober ride on her shoulder. What a good bloober. Gross, but cute. Jane laughs. Joining Tenten back on the other side- putting chocolate in molds so it can set.]

It was a mess in here before this little guy showed up.

I'll clean it, I'll clean it, [she grumbles good-naturedly, giving the Bloober a suspicious look. If any goo starts going into the chocolate, that thing is getting smacked across the kitchen.] Or we could make one of the guys clean it. Even Dart could handle it, right?

[He's got an apron and everything. Don't underestimate him!!]

[Regardless Jane is also helping with the clean-up, as is Dart. Jane pats him on the head and he's probably sort of okay with her now, right?]

Well, it's only fair we clean up the mess we made. [JANE WAS RAISED IN A VERY TRADITIONAL HOUSEHOLD. OK YOU MAKE A MESS YOU CLEAN IT UP.]

[Of course he is, she's his trainer! Tenten rolls her eyes a little; she's not going to protest them cleaning, but,] It wouldn't hurt if they came to help us. I mean, they're getting chocolate out of it.

[Jane laughs.]

of course, it would probably would be nice if they helped a little. But we're already almost done.

I know, I know.

[And she's just going to start piling up dishes to carry over to the sink, dumping them in and turning the water on.]

After we clean up some, we should probably check to see if anyone's got back to us about the chocolate. I can text Dave too, let him know it's safe to come in. Think Jade'll come, too?

[Jane finishes wiping off one part of the counter. Goodness they really did cause quite a mess didn't they!]

I can check my gear too, I texted a few people as well. As for Jade and Dave if the assumption of them I have is correct. Then if food is the subject of conversation, they will come.

[She laughs because she can't speak for Jade as much, but she doesn't doubt it about Dave.]

Yeah, that's one good thing; nothing's going to end up getting wasted.

[And then another glance toward the Bloober.]

Do you know what you're gonna name it yet? If you are keeping it.

We won't have to worry about waste, nope. I kind of wondered if the Pokemon would like it too. But I didn't really look into it. Perhaps at another time we could possibly look into making them some Pokemon treats or something.

[Hmmmm.] I'm leaning towards Truffle.

Yeah, I'm sure there must be recipes for Pokémon treats around!

[But wait back up.]

What's a truffle?

I may have to look into that.

[Oh hm.]

Truffles are chocolates with a creamy center. [OR A MUSHROOM.]

Whoa! We've got to make those next time we bake something.

[LOOK AT HER SMILE this has legitimately been one of the best things Tenten's gotten to do all year.]
