gumshoebreeder[Jane is basically just chilling out where ever she is right about now. She's taken the time to take a seat and pull out her gear to make a video to the network, she has exciting news! Well, it may not be exciting to everyone bu to her it is.]
Hello, everyone! Belatedly I would like to say Happy New Year, and I hope that this year brings you a lot of happiness. Secondly, I think everyone should meet my new partner, Jingle. [It's a Chingling, and it's cutely bouncing in her lap along with the Happiny at it's side. Jane seems to be a magnet for baby Pokemon.] I guess my question is do you take care of a jingle bell Pokemon the same as you would a Stantler or a Happiny? I assume the answer is yes, but I could be wrong.
[A pause. She guesses she just can't really contain how happy she really is. She's smiling quite alot.]
Do you guys believe in miracles? [She knows that could be a double edged question, but curiosity is something she will never withhold from. To Jane, a miracle is something really good happening in your life that you never thought possible.

Honestly, to me. Being here is a miracle. I've had the opportunity of meeting so many wonderful people, yourself included. Also finding out a couple of people who share the same world as me are here.
At first I thought I was just overwhelmed. But it just turns out that I was really happy about this. I wish for everyone to have this moment some day in their life.

I take it where you came from wasn't a particularly nice place to be. I'm surprised at the number of people who prefer it to being in their home world. I always felt like it was a little lonely...

She wishes she saw that sooner.]

Date: 2014-01-17 07:50 pm (UTC)I suppose it really depends on what point someone is at in their life. Had you asked me how I was months before I would have said "just dandy". Things go sour sometimes.
I don't think anything bad will happen while you're gone.
[Jane hopes nothing terrible happens at home either, but, that's a far cry from true. Terrible shit goes down.]

Thank you, though. It has been infinitely better here I can tell you that. I don't feel that sense of danger. In it's own way, this place has given me a bit of refuge.
